The Sedona International Film Festival!

The Sedona Réal Inn and Suites welcomes the chance to be your host for the 17th Annual Sedona Film Festival. The event takes place February 20th - 27th, featuring some of the most recognized independent, documentary, animation and short films from around the world. More than 145 films are to be shown in the week long event. We are conveniently located between the two main locations that will be screening the films, the Harkin’s movie theater and the Sedona Red Rock High School.

To get the festival started February 19th, a special preview premiere screening of “Sedona:  The Motion Picture” will be offered.  The film was shot in and around Sedona and the soundtrack was recorded in natural settings throughout Sedona to capture the sounds unique to the region. A pre-film concert will kick-off the festivities featuring music and musicians on the soundtrack.

The three classic films, “North by Northwest,” “The Heiress” and “The Third Man,” have been chosen for screening at the event by return speaker from Turner Classic Movies’, Robert Osborne.

After the screening of “Certifiably Jonathon,” staring comedian, Jonathon Winters, comic Rita Rudner will host a presentation for Winters, who will be receiving a Lifetime Achievement Award at the festival.
