Monsoon Skies in Sedona!
One of the best kept secrets of Sedona is how beautiful the sunsets are in the summer months. The clouds of monsoon season bring drama and rich contrast to the red rock skyline that captivates the camera lens. Photography students, enthusiasts, educators and seasoned professionals are invited to attend the festival to be held July 18th through the 25th. One of the highlights will be a 3-day symposium featuring keynote talks, workshop presentations and panel discussions.
The Sedona Real Inn & Suites is proud to be a sponsor of this year’s PhotoFest. Located close to hiking trails and just minutes from the most photographed rock formation in Sedona, Cathedral Rock, the Sedona Real Inn & Suites is the perfect place to take in the natural beauty of Sedona, and relax after a day of capturing Sedona with your camera.
Twenty-four of the world’s finest landscape photographers, including Pulitzer-winning photographer Jack Dykinga, will be in attendance. Dykinga blends landscape photography with documentary photojournalism and is a captivating public speaker who is a regular contributor to Arizona Highways and National Geographic. Family friendly special events are to be held each evening and all are eligible to compete in the photo contest honoring photography’s contribution to conservation.
